Finland usually presents their roster on Monday on the week preceding the tournament. So in this case it would be Oct. 31.

Curious who gets nominated for us... Lot of my favs aren't in Europe right now. No Jiricek, Klok, Kulich, Krejci, Knot. Spacek. Jasek finally? I doubt Kovar or Cervenka. Frolik still cooked? Chlapik???

For sure Sklenicka. So far he has been great in SHL.

Antti Suomela should get a look. 16 points in 10 SHL games.

Notable returnees from NA get often looks quickly, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's on the team.
From Liiga, it would be interesting to see Lassi Lehtinen, Anrei Hakulinen, Jerry Turkulainen, Aapeli Räsänen, Joose Antonen, Jani Nyman and Aku Räty.

Lehtinen - Säteri and Koskinen are probably main goaltenders for Finnish and Swiss tournaments which mean one plays in Finland, one in Switzerland. Lehtinen should be in consideration for second goalie in one of tournaments along with ones like Juvonen and Larmi.

Hakulinen - Deserves a spot in EHT, not sure if if Finnish tournament

Turkulainen - Same as above

Räsänen - He's a very intelligent player and as a good face-off man easily adaptable to 4th line role. I can see him even the most likely debutant in the Finnish EHT tournament.

Antonen - Deserves a mention, but not yet in Finland, better pick in Switzerland

Räty - I think he needs to show a little bit more.

Nyman - Better to concentrate in WJC, might be good pick for Swedish EHT tournament.

I want this lineup:

Lassinantti (2 games)
Högberg (1 games)

Aktell - Pudas
Engsund - Persson
Sellgren - Bengtsson
Alsing - Folin

Dahlen - Lindholm - Lang
Möller - Johnsson - Hugg
Brännström - L.Larsson - Karlqvist

What Andre Petersson is doing on the team, is a mystery.

Btw Bert Robertsson will be one of the assistent coaches in next tournament.

Seems like a weaker squad as Kari gets to know some newer players.

I loved Masin but he is officialy in the David Musil, David Kase and Michael Spacek pile of 'tweener' or 'so close but yet so far'. Goalies are fine. Happy to see Chlapik and absolutely shocked to see Cervenka doing an EHT tour. Good for him!

I still think smejkal could battle out a year or 2 in the NHL as a bottom 6 player.

And I was today years old when I found out that Spacek and Chlapik are on the same team in Switzerland. Chlapik is doing ok. Spacek is doing great!

I'm annoyed Turkulainen didn't make Finland's roster. He's so good! Oh well, he'll definitely play in later tournaments.

So Slovakia has a guy named "Roman Faith" and Czechs have a guy named "Roman Will".
What's next? Roman Power?

Classic Sweden having players turning down invites. Even with a new coach.

Lander, Emil Larsson and Lindholm is out.

In is Törnqvist, Aktell and Ludvig Larsson.

Sucks that Emil Larsson is out. He is a cool player.

Now we gonna get 10+ more "cant play" in this coming days.

Finland has some changes too. Ikonen, Pakarinen and Aaltonen out, Pyyhtiä, Turkulainen and Karjalainen in.

Still pretty boring lineup.

Chlapik in the first few seconds of the period! Spacek to Chlapik which are 2 of my fav Czechs that never cracked the NHL. Our Linus Omark's if you will (yes, I know he played more than they did but I maintain Chlapik is doing the Kubalik route to get back to the NHL).

I'm not fully up on this but it sounds like the game was delayed because of a hole in the Czech ice and the ladies match didn't finish because of a power outage.

Czechs aren't paying their hydro bills.lol
