Ahktyamov was added with 4 votes. Vote for who to add next.

1. Each poll will be open for 24 hours.

2. As we never have a consensus way as to which players are still considered prospects, we'll be using my way (at least for the first few polls). The player must be U24 and have less than 50 GP in the NHL. The "prospects" that are left off because of these rules are Joey Anderson, Brennan Menell, Adam Brooks, Joseph Duszak, Vladimir Bobylev, and Nickolai Chebykin.

3. At this time we'll stick to the top-20, but if we want to go to 25 or 30 (I believe the Leafs have just over 30 guys that are eligible) I'll definitely go further.

Rankings:
1. Rasmus Sandin - 53.2%
2. Nick Robertson - 50.9%
3. Timothy Liljegren - 56.9%
4. Rodion Amirov - 90.6%
5. Topi Niemela - 62.1%
6. Matthew Knies - 45.4%
7. Roni Hirvonen - 61.1%
8. Mikhail Abramov - 47.5%

I'm very close to tied between Miettinen and Kokkonen. Miettinen in his D0 set records in the U20 Sarja and then was great in the NCAA in his D+1 as a 19 year old freshman with skills that absolutely will translate to the pro level. Kokkonen was a #1 defenseman in a pro league, finally turned his rel stats around (for the first time in his career), and although didn't produce anything, he isn't the drag on offense that can be assumed because of it. These two guys end the 2nd tier for me.

I'm going to go with Kokkonen, but Miettinen is a great choice too.

Kokkonen. He's established himself as a no 1 D even with low production which I expect to turn around now on a good team.

It was Kokkonen for me at 8, surprised to see Abramov nudge him out. Like I said last time, Mikko has a very high floor IMO. Would say he has one of the highest likelihood's of playing in the show at some point out of our entire prospect pool. Felt like that was the key differentiator for me when comparing him to other prospects in this 3rd tier of our prospect pyramid. Sure his game may not be as flashy as Abramov's, Miettenen's or even Ovchinikov's, but to me he is the most likely to adapt to any style of play that's necessary to make the league. To me that is valuable when assessing a prospect. I don't know if I see that level of adaptability as much in the other guys around this point in our prospect pool. Nonetheless, Mikko feels like a no brainer here at 9 IMO.

On a side note, Already 8 players into this and we still have Miettenen, Kokkonen, Ovchinikov, Abrusezze, Koster, Holmberg, and Akhtyamov left.... remind me again when our prospect depth was better than this?

I was between Kokkonen and Miettien and went with Kokkonen. He showed he can play in his fall stint in the AHL. If Miettien has a better year in the NCAA he will jump up our rankings.

Close between Gogolev, Kokkonen, Abruzzese and Miettinen. Went Gogolev by a hair, I think he’s got the best shot at becoming a top 6 forward/top 4 D, though it’s a slim chance for all of them. I like his skill, nice hands and shot, and he had an impressive debut with the Marlies last year.

Kokkonen has the best chance of being an NHL out of the names left on the list. The other options like Miettinen are higher upside but also have bigger weaknesses (size, first step) and aren't playing the same role/level of competition.

Poll 10 would be between Miettinen and Abruzzese IMO.

Add Villeneuve.

Looks like they have Sandin graduated ...

6. Nick Abruzzese (C, Harvard University, NCAA, 2019 4th Round, 124th Overall)

Abruzzese was undrafted in his first two years of eligibility, but he made massive strides following the 2017-18 season, upping his point totals from 36 in 56 games to 80 in 62 games, which undoubtedly caught Toronto’s eye. They were right to trust their gut with this pick, as Abruzzese had a stellar freshman season at Harvard, where he finished with 44 points in 31 games.

Having watched a lot of Miettinen last season, I feel he's getting very underrated around here.

If Knies has a season this year like Miettinen did last year, we will be thrilled.

Kokkonen for me.
Loving this part of the prospect list. Love the profiles of guys who could make it as complementary guys.

The fact that two of Kokkonen, Abruzzese and Miettinen will be outside of our top 10 is a testament to the prospect pool Dubas (mainly) has put together.

Even Holmberg and Kral, will be solid role players in the NHL I think.

Our top 15 is very deep.

Even Holmberg and Kral, (non Dubas picks) will be solid role players in the NHL I think.

Our top 15 is very deep.
Both Holmberg and Kral were drafted in Dubas's regime.

(Only 1 will likely be outside the top-10)
