Gogolev was added with 5 votes. Vote for who to add next.

1. Each poll will be open for 24 hours.

2. As we never have a consensus way as to which players are still considered prospects, we'll be using my way (at least for the first few polls). The player must be U24 and have less than 50 GP in the NHL. The "prospects" that are left off because of these rules are Joey Anderson, Brennan Menell, Adam Brooks, Joseph Duszak, Vladimir Bobylev, and Nickolai Chebykin.

3. At this time we'll stick to the top-20, but if we want to go to 25 or 30 (I believe the Leafs have just over 30 guys that are eligible) I'll definitely go further.

Rankings:
1. Rasmus Sandin - 53.2%
2. Nick Robertson - 50.9%
3. Timothy Liljegren - 56.9%
4. Rodion Amirov - 90.6%
5. Topi Niemela - 62.1%

Matthew Knies for me. I'm not in love with his trajectory so far, but his production as a D-1 and how he maintained it in his D-0 even in this crazy season shows there is definitely something there. Not to mention he basically played onto the American WJC team in the showcase this summer. Hoping he takes another step this year, but I think we might have to be patient with him.

Add Kral.

Hirvonen.

His showing at the Jr. Showcase was something special with 8 goals in 6 games.

Knies will be a better NHLer than Hirvonen. Better skater, better shooter, better possession player and can already PK.

Knies will be a top 5 team prospect by the end of the year and go on a Boldy esque trajectory.

Add Kral, then Koster.

I oddly voted off the board a bit on Kokkonen. I think he's a solid D with 3/4 upside. I like Roni a lot.. I'm not sure if he's more of an NHL'er than Kokkonen.

Lol, only me and one other voted Miettinen?

I guess I’m higher on him than most, and I can definitely see the reason Knies and Hirvonen are getting most of the votes, but Veeti’s speed and shot get me hypnotized a bit I guess

Matty Knies.

I really think this kid will have a meteoric rise this year, along with fellow 2021 draftee Ty Voit. I think when we look back at this draft in a years time we will almost chuckle at how well we did with how little picks we had. Just a hunch

I love Miettinen. He has major sleeper potential. Just an absolute cannon of his blade, But I think both Hirvonen and Knies pose more potential to eventually make an impact at the NHL level. Not that Miettinen will have to be a top 6 forward or a bust, but both Knies and Hirvonen track very well to play anywhere in the lineup. To me that is the big difference. Even Kokenen for that matter I have higher than Miettenen, although only marginally and likely not for that much longer. As great of a freshman season as Veeti had in the NCAA, he is going to need a couple more of those forward progressing seasons before we can comfortably track him to a sure thing or even a probable thing

Personally I've got the top 4, then Niemela hovering just outside of that, then a glut of Knies/Hirvonen/Miettinen/Abramov/Kokkonen that are all at a comparable level.

Then group 3 of Abbruzzeze/Holmberg/Gogolev/Koster/Kral/Hollowell/SDA

Then group 4 of Voit/Tverberg/Ovchinnikov/Rindell/Steeves/Villeneuve

Torn between Knies and Hirvonen, but went Knies, higher upside IMO. Love Hirvonen's smarts, polish and work ethic, but at 5'9" with somewhat mediocre raw talent, his upside seems limited. Knies, at 6'3" with really nice hands and creativity for his size, seems like the higher upside pick. I think once you get outside our top 5, everyone else is somewhat of a longshot to be an impact NHLer, so upside matters a tonne.

Add Ahktyamov. He's probably a few spots off for most, but I like him again for his upside. Young, decent size, strong quickness and athleticism, plays a very aggressive style, impressive at both the VHL and MHL level last year. Has an outside shot to mature into a starter IMO - much more likely he busts, but there's a bit of "super-raw Fleury" to his game, and that's enticing.
