Schingoethe was added with 2 votes. Vote for who to add next.

1. Each poll will be open for 24 hours.

2. As we never have a consensus way as to which players are still considered prospects, we'll be using my way (at least for the first few polls). The player must be U24 and have less than 50 GP in the NHL. The "prospects" that are left off because of these rules are Joey Anderson, Brennan Menell, Adam Brooks, Joseph Duszak, Vladimir Bobylev, and Nickolai Chebykin. The player also must be either drafted by the team, or signed to an ELC to be considered a prospect. This leaves off a player like Keith Petruzzelli.

3. At this time we'll stick to the top-20, but if we want to go to 25 or 30 (I believe the Leafs have just over 30 guys that are eligible) I'll definitely go further.

Rankings:
1. Rasmus Sandin - 53.2%
2. Nick Robertson - 50.9%
3. Timothy Liljegren - 56.9%
4. Rodion Amirov - 90.6%
5. Topi Niemela - 62.1%
6. Matthew Knies - 45.4%
7. Roni Hirvonen - 61.1%
8. Mikhail Abramov - 47.5%

Went with Tverberg. Voit and Hollowell are my next two and it gets a lot less interesting after that.

Add Miller.

We have some interesting names outside of our top 20. Still a decent amount of NHL potential - though more in a role player sense - which is still needed

I went with Rubins. Simply due to his floor being higher than others in that I think he’ll play NHL games.

Went with Voit, I think once he fills out, he could become a player. Hollowell, Tverberg, Villeneuve and Fusco should round out the rest for me.

Add Miller.

Over/under on players on this leftover list playing games in the NHL at some point in their careers? I'm saying 4.

Tverberg had a pretty decent Freshman season. Hollowell has skills. None of us know how much Voit might have advanced if he had played in 2020-21.

Steeves being 18th but probably getting a few games this year is peak HFLeafs

Playing a game or two for the Leafs in the near future doesn't make you a better prospect than someone else. Even then, there'd have to be some significant injuries to a bunch of forwards for him to play games this year as there's like 16 guys easily ahead of him on the depth chart. Almost 0% chance he gets even one game this year.

Could he have been voted a little higher? Sure. The difference between 18 and ~11 on this list is razor thin, and it speaks volumes to how good a prospect pool we have.

Your condescension is noted though.

Depends on your definition of "games". If you're talking about 1 or 2, I could see those 3 plus Villenueve, Rubuns, Woll, and Scott. If you're talking about 100gp, I'd only maybe put money on the 3 you mentioned.

The only guys I'd say there is virtually no chance are Kara and O'Connell. Everyone else just needs a major development uptick.
