Agreed, but sometimes there's just a player you really like in that spot. The Ducks for example were going to trade up with Dallas for Krebs if Vegas didn't pick him.

Let’s hope so. We now know he is needed. It’s funny that this team has been so good without a game-breaking talent.

Look at the teams we played. MINN had Kaprizov, COL has Mac and MON had Caufield who is already a more dangerous offensive weapon than anyone on our roster.

Stone, our best player, is a 2-way monster, but no explosive offensive talent. We need that guy if we want to win a cup in the next 2 years.

THG talked about Fabian Lysell as a guy in the mid first range who could fall because of character issues, sheltered usage hindering scouting and sub six foot size.

Also said he is highly skilled and considered a shooter and would be drafted to put the puck in the net from either wing. Right hand shot.

Any chance he slips as far as us?

Doubt Lysell falls that far.

And AFAIK his character issues is from one thing only: his move away from Frölunda. Frölunda had handled his development horribly(along with several other prospects), so he wanted a trade away. His destination being Luleå was shit though. Basically playing under the SHL's version of Tortorella lite.
