Who are some mid to late round draft picks from 2021-2022 that look like they have the potential to be steals in the future?
Joshua Roy in 2021 is also looking like a real steal for the Habs in the 5th round. For the Habs: Adam Engstrom.Adam Engström Contract, Cap Hit, Salary and Stats - CapFriendly - NHL Salary Caps
Because their fanbases don’t post as much in this section of the website. Thats how it is. Would be better if their fanbases contributed more. How do Sam Lipkin and Jack Devine get no respect on these boards.
Devine, a 7th round pick was just the highest scoring player on a national championship winning team. Fanbases are so Damn biased.
Vsevolod Komarov at 134OA is likely going to be named QMJHL defenseman of the year.
Why would he go in the 1st round? Isn’t it expected that an overager dominates in the league he is in?He absolutely will. He'd be a 1st rounder in a redraft. He and Lamoureux are on the same team and I choose Komarov 10 out of 10 times. Monster of a 5th round pick

He wasn’t an overager. An overager was someone born in 2003 last year, he was born in 2004.Why would he go in the 1st round? Isn’t it expected that an overager dominates in the league he is in?
I mean in regards to him playing in junior hockey. He’s a 20 year old playing in the CHL, isn’t he expected to dominate? He had unimpressive draft year and D1 year.He wasn’t an overager. An overager was someone born in 2003 last year, he was born in 2004.
It’s definitely expected he’d do good, not really “dominate” I think those expectations should be set for first rounders. I think for his draft billing he exceeded expectations, no doubt.I mean in regards to him playing in junior hockey. He’s a 20 year old playing in the CHL, isn’t he expected to dominate? His D1 wasn't unimpressive. He was actually one of the best D in the league. He was playing on the first pair for the Quebec Remparts (mem. cup champs). This year, he is even more dominant in his 19 year old season and actually developped an impressive offensive game.I mean in regards to him playing in junior hockey. I'm just saying it's unimpressive when looking at defenseman in their 19 y/o season in the QMJHL and how they have performed in the NHL. I agree with him outplaying his draft position, but he's not 1st round worthy. There are a couple examples of defenseman at the same age who had a better point per game than him in the Q and never played a single NHL game. Yup. Probably a second or third Line RW in the NHL.I think he is the best habs forward presently.Joshua Roy in 2021 is also looking like a real steal for the Habs in the 5th round.
