That's the thing. This is a f***ed up season. You can't really say that spring training from February and the first half of March was impactful since they had an off-season length of time before games started. So an short camp with no exhibition games, and launching into a regular season was always going to be nutty.

With that you have a very young team with a lot of inexperience .. It's a tough ask on them to get up to big league speed this quickly and find their rhythm.
