As a Pens fan, I can't give them a vote of confidence after how they lost to the Islanders. Maybe in a couple spots, but right now I would go with the Avalanche.

Dallas. Pavelski is a good add, even if Bishop isn’t as good as last year he’s still a top 10 goalie, and while I generally think Klingberg and Lindell are overrated individually their defense as a unit is rock solid. Heiskanen is a stud. I think they have less question marks around them than Colorado.

I think Colorado is going to surprise quite many here..

We'll see. Let's not forget they were a bubble team until the last month of the season, when their goaltending suddenly became amazing. I am not sold in their goaltending over a full season. Couple that with their defense being very young and raw, I think they will be a goals against machine.

Now, can they outscore their problems? Maybe, they did it for a lot of last year. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
