So the Flames clean up 12 pretty easily after a pretty up in down season. Crazy fantastic regular season followed by a quick bounce in the first round by the underdog Aves. They seem to have ups and downs season to season too so hard to predict whatll happen next year. Anyways 13 is next

The league is pretty damn deep when Winnipeg is coming in at 13th.

I wouldn’t be completely shocked to see any of these teams win so far.

Because they havent won any of the polls yet

Touché.

I'd argue they're a better team than all the teams voted after San Jose, it's very surprising to me that they're still being slept on even after being the 2nd best team in the league since January and reaching the Eastern Conference Finals (beating the defending Stanley Cup Champions in round one). They didn't get worse this offseason either. They lost Ferland but added Dzingel and Haula (both of them together are an upgrade on Ferland for sure), they were the second best possession team and were very good as a team at generating shots, and suffocating teams with neutral zone forechecking. They are a very, very good team.

Mrazek in net probably turns a lot of people off.
