I would say go Rays. but I can't morally root for them in any other circumstance other than facing the Astros.

On account that they paid Wade Boggs to wear their hat in to the HOF.

The city of Atlanta sold their soul for the 1995 World Series crown, there's no other way to put it.

Apparently ONE ATL championship was too much for the sports gods to handle.

And yet apparently they're OK with Tampa/L.A. winning two in one year

So apparently ATL sports are never allowed to have nice things, but L.A. could have 2 in one year?

That doesn't sound fair

Noice dodgers win complete the comeback. They are a LA team that's likable. Hoping kershaw dominates the WS and cements his legacy as undisputed best pitcher of this generation

Dave Roberts has saved his job!

Say what you want, but 3 WS appearances in 5 years is nothing to scoff at

I've told this story before, it's appropriate again. I've been rooting for the Braves since about 1992 when I was not yet in Kindergarten, Dad and Grandpa were fans since that was the local team and they were on TBS. Also the Durham Bulls were affiliated w/ the Braves for a long time.

I remember the night they won the WS, I got to stay up late to watch it since it was a Friday night. I thought they were a dynasty in the making and boy was I wrong. 1996 and 1999 were both painful.

Then there was the 2011 season where they choked on the last day and STL got in and ultimately won the WS, then the Fredi Gonzalez debacle where he found out he got fired when he didn't get his plane ticket, then the Coppolella scandal, and now a 3-1 series lead blown.

I have no idea why I keep watching other than they're the "local" team. Maybe I should just be a Rays fan or something.

Money may not buy you love, but it can help you get 3 NL pennants in 4 years.

Thank god the sport is dying and Manfred is enthusiastically overseeing it. It'll be much easier to take the Braves choke when it's only seen as a minor league event around the country.

To think we're a pair of B2B 8th inning Kershaw HR's by the Nats last October from L.A. perhaps winning 4 straight pennants.......

Wait, you are glad the sport is dying?

Well as someone else pointed out they do have Atlanta United FC, but I would bet most ATL sports fans would rather have a WS or a Super Bowl, or even an NBA title instead of an MLS Cup. But at least Atlanta United FC provides some happiness I guess.
