Outstanding work!

seems NHL scouts value goalies much more than HF scouts, just looking at comparable lists from recent THN future watch.

Thanks to all contributors for their effort.

super hyped to see this come back, especially after all my good prospects have graduated, save turcotte. martin necas is a bit low for my tastes. he's been fantastic. hopefully turcotte lives up to these expectations and ends up better than the pick that was traded for him.

Good stuff, thanks chief. As you know, my list differed somewhat from this, but mostly the perpetual apples and oranges challenge of comparing rookie NHLers with those untested at that level.

I don't think Jokiharju should be eligible for the same reason I wouldn't have included Troy Terry or Adam Gaudette, because all exceeded rookie limits last season. All three possible top 50 guys if they are eligible, but all for kicks anyway and combined with Chabot, Thomas, Georgiev and Jarry, feeling good with my young talent.

I made one of the lists used and all the goalies I ranked, I generally moved them down my lists. They are just so unpredictable. The next star goalie in the NHL always seems to be a later round draft pick, not a first-rounder.

Agreed, although I'm not sure NHL scouts feel that differently. Not a lot of goalies go in the top 30-45, and when they do it's typically either because some teams think they're the exception, or a team has a deep system and can take the risk.

That being said, it was a good year for goalies who went in the 30-50 range this past season, with Jarry, Hart, Blackwood and to a lesser extent Demko having good years.

Thanks to everyone who put in the work to compile the list of prospects and then go and rank all the teams system strengths. I'm sure it was a labour of love! Pleasantly suprised my team made the list as high as it did.

relative to the recent published THN Future Watch, NHL scouts had their corresponding goalies ranked much higher. At least at the top of the list.

understandable why goalies are hard to rank, was just an observation comparing the two lists.

Nice job Brock. Very pleased with 7th place. Stars were in 28th place not that many years ago. I thought Morgan Barron would get some love, I think he is top three for the Hobey Baker 2020.
