I picked Dawes. I think it could be a toss up between him , Bahl and Shakir. An allstar starting goaltender would be up there with a top 4 defender in terms of value IMO.

I assume Boqvist didn’t make this list because we inexplicably played him over his head for 35 games? That’s disappointing, would have liked to see how he stacks up against Bahl, Mookie and Thompson. He may not be eligible for the Calder but he’s still a prospect in my eyes

He used the 25 NHL game cut off I guess? It’s not @Number6 fault that of all us Sherlock Holmes, myself included, collectively didn’t notice he was missing until the 5th poll. I don’t see why we can’t just arbitrarily add him to the 6th poll if that’s what people want. Or not.

To be considered a rookie, a player must not have played in more than 25 NHL games in any preceding seasons, nor in six or more NHL games in each of any two preceding seasons. Any player at least 26 years of age (by September 15th of that season) is not considered a rookie.
