It's Theodore, but Werenski is an acceptable pick, too. Shea Theodore is such a great, complete player. A stud. In his prime. There's a reason Vegas is doing so well. Theodore is a bonafide star, just not in a traditional hockey market so he still goes largely unnoticed by casual fans.

Thoroughly out-performed is a definite stretch.

Hamilton is underrated imo and you could put him over Makar, but there’s no way the gap is that big.

Agreed. Most non-Canes fans may not have noticed, but at the time Hamilton went out with a broken leg last winter an argument could be made that he was having a better all around season than any other NHL defenseman. 14 goals and 40 points in 47 games while playing very good D; he was a ridiculous +30 at the time, way above any other Cane (with the standard +- stat caveats, of course).

Past performance does not guarantee future results, but if Hamilton picks up where he left off, the debate as to where he belongs on a list like this is very much a different one.
