So ESPN / ABC is doing this game from the studio. So they did it the cheap way. All NFL games have the broadcast crew on site.

This was the first game on ABC since 1995

ABC Sports suffered a huge breakdown after MNF left. They largely aired the Indy 500 and the NBA Finals after they lost NHL rights.

Good thing is they are starting to air more on ABC these days (Wild card game for football) and now this.
