I love seeing hockey succeed in less-traditional markets as much as anyone, but I can't be the only person who is still disappointed the NHL gave a franchise to Las Vegas over the Winnemucca, Nevada bid. Two cities of roughly equal quality but the NHL caved to the all-mighty dollar again.

I'm still bitter four years later.
