RULES
Each poll runs 24 hours and is public. Vote for your choice and nominate a prospect from the list below to replace that player on the subsequent poll.

If there is a tie in the Top 10, there will be a run-off and the losing prospect will be returned to the pool for the next vote. Outside the Top 10, the tie will hold, the two highest Adds will be added and we'll move on.

PROSPECT RANKINGS
In the past, we've also done skater-only and goalie-only threads, as well as aggregate-type of rankings. If someone is interested, they are welcome to inherit that responsibility.

I was torn a little between Jokiharju and Pilut. I feel Pilot has lost a lot of notoriety and prestige in the depth rankings. But then I look at his NHL season last year and the fact he's turning 24 this year and think he may be more of a 6/7 guy. I hope I'm wrong.

That's one of the things figuring out upside and opportunity to achieve it as weighting factors in how people vote. Jokiharju could be a first pairing RHD and was only eclipsed by two other teenage defensemen last year (Heiskanen and Dahlin). Pilut could be very much a Stralman type of defender and still has time to get there but we know he's an NHLer. Heck, Johnson I have lower but could wind up better than either of them. Ratings are dynamic.

To me the Jokiharju v Pilut v Laaksonen is a great argument to have.

I love me some Laaksonen. Only reason I have him a tier behind the other 2 is because of NHL-readiness. He's got great upside, but Joki and Pilut have already shown they can be successful NHL players.

Another vote for Joki + Ruotsalainen.
