RULES
Each poll runs 24 hours and is public. Vote for your choice and nominate a prospect from the list below to replace that player on the subsequent poll.

If there is a tie in the Top 10, there will be a run-off and the losing prospect will be returned to the pool for the next vote. Outside the Top 10, the tie will hold, the two highest Adds will be added and we'll move on.

PROSPECT RANKINGS
In the past, we've also done skater-only and goalie-only threads, as well as aggregate-type of rankings. If someone is interested, they are welcome to inherit that responsibility.

This area is a grading schmozzle for me - upside, likelihood to achieve it, etc...

I have Nylander here by a fraction. The next bunch is all within a tenth either way basically.

Add Malone.

I'm very not high on Nylander but I don't have it in me to really decide who to put above him, so I figure just get him out of the way.

Went with Nylander by a hair... this is a pretty muddy tier of prospects, not much separation.

Isn't Oskari Laaksonen projected to be a top 2 defender?

And I have him in this group. Asplund seems like he will be an NHLer, albeit in what role and impact is the limiting factor. Similarly, Borgen's likelihood of being a solid 2nd pairing defensive defenseman is almost a given at this point. Samuelsson has more tools but is slightly less so. Laaksonen has top pair potential sure, and his likelihood of hitting that continues to grow. He's right in the mix as well. Heck, Bryson does as well, though considerably less so due to size. They're all possible options in this mix, even with Davidsson (similar to Asplund) and Pekar.

This next tier for me is the guys who I "think" will make it over the guys I "hope" will make it.

Gimme Mr. Underrated, C.J. Smith by a hair over Borgen and Asplund.

I don’t know if the offense will translate, but I fricking loved how Asplund played style wise in camp this year.

The professional level interference, the in your face style, some very nice stick work. He will be an nhler, and I think he could be an integral Hecht style compliment to any line in the top 9.
