I will again demand runoff voting next year, @SoupyFIN. 19 of the 25 polled, including our top prospect, did not get at least 50% of votes. [mod]

I think the current way gives results closer to the truth. With a second round added, people who didn't vote for those players would be forced (well, not forced per say) to vote for a player, who in their view doesn't belong on that spot. For example, I had Hepo second on my list and I would've had to pick between Knight and Denisenko.

It would also take more time to complete a single spot and thus we wouldn't have time to do as many prospects.

If someone else wants to organize the vote next year, all you need to do is ask. I'm doing this for the very same reason.

Heponiemi is likely the biggest drop or disappointment.
Borgstrom would have dropped if he was on the list along with Montembeault.
Stillman is the biggest riser as he's up with the big team right now and has looked good so far
Schutz is impressing of late

Ya Koly will be a good 2 way guy. Also like Gildon and Ludvig for LD's.
Tippett still by far our best prospect

Hepo definitely the biggest faller - barely hangs on to the top10 only thanks to potential and previous success (will probably drop him out if I don't see improvement in the 2nd half of the season). Agree that Borg would drop too if he was still ranked. Noel has been somewhat disappointing but honestly nobody has impressed enough to take his spot - might even move up to 4 given the lack of improvement among other guys. Tippett and Knight have solidified their positions as n.1 and 2, Denisenko still n.3.

Biggest riser personally for me is Ludvig, who'd newly make my top 10 or at least be just outside. Also higher would be Stillman (already had him in my top10 before season; would newly be 5-6); Hunt would drop a couple spots and so would Bednard (he hasn't been bad in the ECHL but right now he's buried on the goalie depth chart). Hutsko would be in the top10 or just out - dropped him because of his injury issues and TBH those are still here, but the way he keeps producing despite them, I can't justify having him lower. Schutz would be about eight spots higher.

Repo would drop out entirely from my top25 for obvious reasons; Kinnunnen would also go down to the 20s. Berger and/or Abols can drop out entirely too (for now at least).

Would have Schwindt and newly Lindmark somewhere around 14-18, add Meireles to the 20s (I want to put him higher but he is currently the oldest guy in the OHL... need to see him in the AHL before I do that).

We acquired Saarela so he might have a spot on the list?

OT is going to be scary good on the Panthers next season!

Remember, he was our lease consensus pick (37.2%), until the nine spot at Hunt.
His size, speed, shot, offensive and defensive awareness are already for the jump. Just collecting that much-needed year of AHL experience this season.

I hope when Springfield's season is over, DT calls him up, even if it's just for one meaningless game. I feel like he could provide a spark ready for the playoffs.

two biggest disappointment when you go on from this List. Heppo and Hunt. The tw biggest uprise are Ang and Stillmann.

I don't think anyone saw Stillman at #19 coming this season. Especially when he is waiver exempt, he's an easy piece to move back and forth. Once Weegs gets recalled, despite playing well, I imagine Stillman gets sent back down.

As for Ang being a big rise, I don't see it. I don't see him being inside the Top 10 Prospects next season. Up a couple spots from #15? Sure, but not up more than 5.

What about Ludwig at #18? He has been on fire this year in the WHL! I could see him possibly cracking the top 10 next season.

Stillman only had a few good Games in the Camp, but even in the Camp up and downs in a lot of Games. Different from Weegar he maked a big step during a single Year.
But im with you Stillman was not on my radar to make it into the Team.

But again that is WHL not even AHL. There are a lot of Players who a good in Juniors or have some great Years. But then cant bring in the next Step, i dont expect him to make the big next step he will need at least 2 Years before seeing any progress from him.
