I will make a thread everyday until we have determined the top 30 prospects according to Leaf fans on HFBoards for I think my 10th straight year. The criteria for a prospect will be loosely based on Calder eligibility. There may be a couple that slip through the cracks the first few posts because I am not perfect. Also please let me know if I have someone listed that is no longer with us, or any omissions. Comprehensive prospect lists are a little harder to find than you'd think this time of year.

Rankings:

1. Rasmus Sandin -- 68.3%
2. Timothy Liljegren -- 87.4%
3. Jeremy Bracco -- 60.7%
4. Nicholas Robertson -- 40.5%
5. Trevor Moore -- 32.9%
6. Ilya Mikheyev -- 24%
7. Joseph Woll -- 32.8%

Marchment for me. He will break through this season. think he will be a player similar to a Wayne Simmonds. may not be as effective, however definitely see upside there.

I get people are down on his size, but Mac Hollowell was just the top scoring defenseman in the OHL. Once he starts putting up big number in the AHL he'll get more recognition.

And Brazeau was recognized by OHL GMs for having a more impressive season ;). Both should be good prospects for us going forward!

I'm surprised people think Hollowell is a better prospect than Kokkonen... ;)

If I could only keep one, I'd select Kokkonen.
Hollowell just destroyed the OHL and was in consideration for the player of the year at his position. He earned an ELC and played great for the Marlies in short stint to end the year in important games. Kokkonen was drafted a little higher but Hollowell made a huge jump from last year while only being picked a round later.

Kokkonen debuted in the Liiga in his U16 season. He just had a very solid professional season in his U18 season, one of the best U18 seasons in Liiga history... 19P in 56 games against men.

In Hollowell's U16 season, he was playing AAA hockey, and had a mediocre 21P in 58GP in his U18 season playing Junior...

Yeah I like Hollowell but Kokkonen is just a totally different type of prospect and I think will be a great pick very soon

He hasn't done anything to deserve love except for being drafted much higher than he should have been.

He still has plenty of potential left. He's finally going to be playing some consistent hockey, and in a top six role. He'll be showing his worth this year. Him and Lindgren I think will surprise.
