I will make a thread everyday until we have determined the top 30 prospects according to Leaf fans on HFBoards for I think my 10th straight year. The criteria for a prospect will be loosely based on Calder eligibility. There may be a couple that slip through the cracks the first few posts because I am not perfect. Also please let me know if I have someone listed that is no longer with us, or any omissions. Comprehensive prospect lists are a little harder to find than you'd think this time of year.

Rankings:

1. Rasmus Sandin -- 68.3%
2. Timothy Liljegren -- 87.4%
3. Jeremy Bracco -- 60.7%
4. Nicholas Robertson -- 40.5%
5. Trevor Moore -- 32.9%
6. Ilya Mikheyev -- 24%
7. Joseph Woll -- 32.8%
8. Ian Scott -- 47.9%
9. Mikko Kokkonen -- 39.5%
10. Yegor Korshkov -- 29.8%
11. Mac Hollowell -- 35.4%
12. Jesper Lindgren -- 26.5%
13. Pierre Engvall -- 31.6% (tie)
13. Semyon Der-Aruchintsev -- 31.6% (tie)
15. Teemu Kivihalme -- 27.1%
16. Mason Marchment -- 22.9%
17.

Hey @Schenn er ... your OP says Top 30 even though you’ve stated a couple times its 20 this year. Just thought I’d point that out!

I’m going Duszak because I don’t think Abramov will get the votes

BROOKS ...
he will be starting center on the marlies this year and i wouldn't be surprised if he scored over 30.

Can someone explain to me how Marchment was voted in? Do we realise he's already 24 years old with an AHL career high of 26 points?
I feel same way but some people look at this vote as closest to the NHL. I look at it who has most potential to be a force in the lineup in 5 years. Brooks and Marchment are very close to NHL ready.

Should be looked at as trade value imo.

personally I like the idea of having too many Marlies pushing for the roster, especially of the ilk that don't have the draft pedigree to stomp their feet about NHL opportunity they're not getting. For the return that you'd get for either of those guys, I think they're more valuable to have competing for a roster spot. You never know when you get something really good from a place you didn't expect, Moore is looking like a very good NHL'er and I don't think anyone saw that coming when he signed his ELC.

And if they never get to the big club, we sacrificed the 5th-7th round picks we'd get for them, I can live with that

Ya I just meant in regards to this thread for ranking. I vote for whoever I think would return the most in a trade.

That way you get a good balance between risk/ceiling of prospects.

I predict Timashov to have a 66point season. 16 goals 50 assists. Dont know how far that takes him on this list thou.
