They all aren't for all intents and purposes not on the lightning. If they make it past camp, sure, but they are all behind Ruuta for now. We are ranking Lightning players on the team not ones who might or might not make it.

Your interpretation is fine. I thought the intent of these polls was to establish a type of depth chart, since the creator was purposefully ambiguous to spark debate. Best lightning player could include the entire organization, it's a long summer, but I don't care.

We should just do a prospect ranking, we've had a prospect poll every summer and this poll feels just about wrapped up. It makes more sense to rank prospects by potential rather than current level of talent, which I feel this poll is being evaluated by.
