Draft Rules
Teams may pick any player whose rights are held by an NHL team and not already owned by another fantasy team. Thus retired players, undrafted Junior players, UFA’s, and players in other professional leagues who are not drafted or signed by a real NHL team are ineligible.
You must be at minimum roster limits by the end of the draft and cannot exceed goalie or roster limits.
If you pick a player who is already selected that pick will be considered void as soon as it is noticed and you will be notified to re-pick. It is up to each team manager to ensure you are not picked a player already selected or on an existing roster no matter what.
Trades can be made including draft picks and future draft picks out to 1 year.
The draft order is posted below.
Each team is assigned a dedicated time slot and has a 1/2 hr to make their pick.
If you miss your time slot your pick will be autoed at the end of the round. Thus you can still make your pick if you miss your time slot before the end of the round.
If at your next pick your time limit is reached again it will be autoed and every pick autoed after that. If you miss all your picks your team may revert to league control as we want active managers.
An "auto" pick is automatically the next player available from the previous NHL draft. If your team selected a D with the last pick a F will be auto selected. If a team requires a roster selection to be compliant and that is the final pick, the position selected will be the one which brings the team to roster compliance.
Auto picks cannot be withdrawn once made.
If the team has picked in front of you before their time limit is up you can make your pick early but I wont change the time slots as it will mess people up who are expecting to pick at a certain time.
There is no need to notify the next team to make their pick as everyone has a time slot but out of courtesy please PM and tag the next up.

To see if a player has been selected use CTRL-F to search the Draft Order post and/or the Roster thread. Always make a simple search starting with the first name. I dont guarantee player spelling to be 100% correct.
