What is the stats-based argument in favor of a player like Pinho at 24 that only put up 12 points in his rookie AHL season?

Depends on how high you are with Pinho projection. His second part of the season was not so bad.

At this point I have more faith VV will be a consistent NHL player, than LuJo. So that's where my vote went.

LuJo's stock is low right now but I'm thinking he has a really strong year in Hershey and reinserts himself in the top 3 or 4 prospects discussion.

Pretty big drop off now. I would be surprised if anyone after 5 makes the Caps as a full timer

LuJo is my pick now and I've already stated I think he's a bust at this point

Anecdotally after Lujo's 20 year old season they took defensemen with their top 2 picks, and a year later the Director of Player Development mentions those 2 guys and not Lujo.

The Caps also took 4 straight forwards in the first round after Kuznetsov. Meaningless.
