Might also convince Benning that we really do have a viable team out there that just needs a few tweaks, maybe another underperforming high-paid tweener veteran or two would do the trick...

Anaheim - dog of a performance in the midst of their hunt for the playoffs
Edmonton - not a good team
Columbus - Western swing from Eastern team.
Vegas - Blew a 3 goal 3rd period lead
Arizona - not a good team, but played well in 2nd half of the season. Blew a 2 goal 3rd period lead
Edmonton - again
