Forgot to mention if the US women didn't win I would have been *****ing about the no call for 7 women on the ice and the no call Canadian women's shoulder to the head.

No need now other than to say changes need to be made in all hockey leagues.

They were on the PK when there were 7 on the ice too lol.

Refs were awful last night as they have been all Olympics and as refs in this sport always are. Even Pierre called them out multiple times. The one time in the third when they waived off a clear icing for team Canada he called it out saying it was "gross incompetence" or something like that lol

There were calls missed both ways.

The one that was indefensible was the elbow to the head of the player WITH the puck on a clear scoring chance RIGHT IN FRONT of the net. In other words, there's literally no other place else the ref could have been looking but right there.

It should have been a 5 minute major, and who knows how many goals USA could have scored on that since it doesnt end like a normal powerplay. Perhaps more importantly, even if they didnt score, Canada should have been without one of their best defenseman the rest of the game.

Even if they miss the elbow, (or perhaps let that slide given where they were in the game), you have to at least call the 2 minute checking penalty.

But I hate complaining about ref's and we won, so end of the day, USA women are GOLD.

I got so pissed off at the non calls and the cocky Canadian team starting to be assholes that I shut it off and set up the DVR the game.
I happy as hell for the Girls. I wish some day we can get the men's team to be as competitive.
As far as the Refs they can piss off. The obvious one sided shit has to stop. Those girls were nailing our girls then looking over at the Refs to see what their reaction was. Pathetic So DB there is nothing wrong with staying on them. Its Deserved.

Brutal knee on knee hit by f***in Kovalupchuk.

It's not enough that you're gonna win this tournament without breaking a sweat, you gotta take this guy out of the game? And instead of 5 minutes, he gets a 2 minute minor.

I think it’s hilarious that both the men’s Team USA and Team Canada’s joke rosters both exited before the gold medal game.

I’d have to believe officials from both countries will be begging Bettman and company to come over to Beijing in 2022. They’ll be rolling out the carpet.

Hahaah eat **** Canada

To make matters worse, they just lost the curling bronze medal game they were favored to win.

I wonder how Canadians view these Olympics?

On the one hand, they won more total medals than they ever have. But on the other hand, they completely failed in the events they really care about.

Because we've never had a chance to win Olympic Gold in curling before, there's going to be a 1/2 hour pregame tonight.

This is big, people!

I haven't watched a lot of Olympic hockey, but I really like the way Kahun plays for Germany.

The figure skating last night was fantastic. The 2 russian girls were basically perfect. Still watching the postgame stuff now.

Holy ****, what a game. So happy right now.:D

I'd be happier if Canada losing didn't mean basically an automatic Russian win. Then again I didn't really want Canada winning this faux tournament after their pros bullied everyone else's pros the last few Olympics either. Probably better that OAR wins - unless Germany pulls off their own Miracle On Ice and ultimate troll job - cause they were supposed to bully this field anyway.
