I will give the edge to Tocchet because he was very good as an assistant in Pittsburgh and he has nothing to work with in Phoenix on the ice or off the ice with their moronic management group.

But really I would be pissed if any of these guys were talked about as being a candidate for my HC.

We'll see with him.

I am not a fan of the Capitals to start with but to add on that it seemed like he was kind of a back stabber willing to work with McLellan to get rid of Trotz leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I have no desire to ever see him coaching my team but he may not be as bad as some of the guys left or some who managed to get ranked way too high (Hynes, Peters).

A lot of these are difficult based on small sample sizes. For instance, I really don't know how to evaluate Travis Green. He took the Utica Comets to the Calder Finals fairly recently, and had a fantastic start to the season for the Canucks. While we had an awful season, there is only so much blame that can be put onto Green, as our roster was not particularly great. We probably won't know how good of a coach he is for another 3-4 seasons, realistically.

I'm pretty high on Green. Yeah not much has happened at the NHL level for him yet but frankly I don't see much of that landing at the coaches feet, I think that roster still overachieved

He's at least made the playoffs. None of them the other coaches have done anything lol.

No, but how are you gonna vote for "what ifs" on these polls? Unfortunately for them, if they coach a bad team they're not going to be ranked high. That's usually the way it is...
