So Bednar from the Aves takes 16 after a pretty dam good improvement from the previous year. Hopefully for the Aves they can build off it and take the next step this coming year. I think they will, there building a pretty deep and talented team there and we will see if Bednar is up to the challenge. Anyways lets keeper going, 17 is NEXT

Playoffs is dependent on the roster more than the coaching. McLellan made 0 adjustments to LITERALLY the worst PK of all time. He refused to move guys off of the PP when it was apparent they weren't working in that role to everyone. He refused to adjust in game at all.

He threw his players under the bus MULTIPLE times INCLUDING McDavid instead of taking responsibility for his terrible system.

There are guys on that last I would take over him rather easily playoffs or not... And it's not like he made the playoffs with a Art ross winner and several other big pieces.

It was not an easy choice, but I picked McLellan. He is a good coach, but I can't explain what's happening in Edmonton.

This is pretty much the point where some questionable coaches make the list. Then come the unknown (or lesser experienced) coaches. Then it becomes a battle to not be the worst. I love these threads.

Mike Babcock is 5th..? That's surprising. He rarely makes poor coaching decisions.

Blashill better be in the Bottom-5. He's bad as an NHL Head Coach. He's a decent Assistant Coach.
