McLellan once again.

I love how he goes top 5 and then after one rough season he's not even top 15 anymore I guess.

HF loves logic.
He coached a DISASTROUS team last year. Brutal season, of course his ranking will lower after that bombing

This is Bednar, and he probably should've gone earlier.

Here is the thing about Jared Bednar, and the jack Adams award for that matter, it usually just goes to a teams coach that does way better then expected usually based on the performance of a star player, Mackinnon in this case.

Its why Hynes was getting love too. If those teams didn’t have good years no one is talking about Jared Bednar being a great coach of course.

You know who I like as coaches for those awards? The guys that consistetly our s winning team on the ice without a ton of star players.

Peter Deboer in SJ is a good example.

The problem with having rookie coaches like tocchet and Housley despite there teams awful performances it was there first year they should get a break. It takes time to implement a system, by the time you get it in place the season could already be lost like
It was for both Arizona and buffalo.

I think Housley coaching Dahlin will make a lot of sense and something good can perhaps come of it.

And he’s gotten more results than multiple coaches ahead of him. Surprising I know.
Has he though? He has been to 2 conference finals 8 and 9 years ago. He also coached a team with some of the worst special teams in the entire league while having far and away the single best player in the league. Yeah I am truly shocked that people think less of the guy after last season.
