It is time for the 2nd annual HFNHL arbitration hearings.

The following players will be headed to arbitration:
Marcus Foligno, Washington Capitals
Miikka Salomaki, Vegas Golden Knights
Ben Hutton, Pittsburgh Penguins
Riley Sheahan, San Jose Sharks

Look for these arbitration hearings to happen in the next week or so as some players await their NHL arbitration results.

Any update on our abritration schedules?

Due to budgetary constraints we couldn't afford to live stream this years arbitration hearings. The show must go on however so I used www.random.org to generate a random draw of arbitration results for this years crop of abused RFA's.

As a reminder, the available outcomes are based on the difference between HFNHL QO and NHL Cap Hit at the following amounts above HFNHL QO:

50%
80%
105%

Marcus Foligno, Washington Capitals - $2,800,000 (80%)
Miikka Salomaki, Vegas Golden Knights - $1,017,500 (accepted his QO in the end and didn't go to arbitration)
Ben Hutton, Pittsburgh Penguins - $1,533,000 (30%)
Riley Sheahan, San Jose Sharks - $2,082,500 (30%)
