I like Sissons here - I know he went undrafted and was on a good team this year, but 94 points in 98 games as a defenseman this past season is damn good. Sounds like he's really motivated as well - interested to see how he looks in the pre-season.

Size. That's about it.

Not a whole lot, but at least he wasn't 'tank a team's season' awful like Blackwood. He showed he wasn't totally overmatched in the AHL at 19.

Bastian vs Sharangovich in the AHL next year, both similarly placed on the depth charts..I expect Sharangovich to have the better year.

Surprised that Maltsev isn't getting more support. Looked really solid in the World Juniors. He's probably good enough to play in the NHL this year. Pronman thinks he's risen to McLeod level. If he comes over I think he will outperform wherever he's ranked by this board by a good margin.
