Brutal first round, I had your team as my biggest competition in the division, among several great teams.

I'll start off by picking on a weakness, since that's what we do here : Tommy Phillips in he top 6 in a draft this size. Elite defensively, clutch player yes. But he really has only 1 impressive regular season as a scorer against decent competition; the rest of his (relatively short) regular season career was spent being AMONG the best scorers of a pathetically weak western league. Generally matched in scoring by his center, Billy McGimsie.

I believe i was the first GM to use Phillips on a scoring line in the main ATD, but that was a left wing lock team and it was merely an "adequate" option. I'm not sure how much better he is than Jiri Holik, to be honest. Again, Phillips was definitely a clutch player, however.

I guess Zubov defending against either the Messier line or the Jagr line is a weakness too, though Langway sure helps.

Swamp Devils Brooklyn obviously give our bottom pairing as little even strength ice time as possible. Housley gets big ice time on the PP.

Ditto, I had you and another team leading the charge in your division. As far as Phillips goes, yeah, possibly. What year was it when you had him btw? Probably before I joined the ATD (2014?).

I like your first pairing, if for nothing else, would be impossible to achieve in the real ATD. :naughty:

My 1st pairing probably would be achievable, maybe with a forward sprinkled in if lucky. Regarding your first line, nothing on it that I'm against, wasn't it Schriner and Jagr that a few people were opposed to when I tried to put them together in the ATD before, eventually leading me to put Schriner on the 2nd line with Forsberg(?).
