Officially, I say the time to be very very concerned is now.
The time to panic, however, is game 17. That is 1/10th of our season. That's 7 games away. If we split the game from here to there that's 4 wins. If we aren't 5-12 or greater by then, you can accept that the season is already over. There is no way the Jays go on a run to the degree where we come back from that bad of a record and contend in any way for a Wild Card.

So Sanchez decided to full garbage for an inning and now we're losing. Was super happy to get the game on again just in time to watch Martin do nothing at the plate. He needs to be hitting 8th or 9th until he figures his **** out.

To explain my reasoning:
Cut the season up into 10 chunks. 1st chunk (the chunk we're in right now) has 5 wins. Even if the other 9 chunks had the Jays winning 9 of the 17 games in each chunk wins, that is only 86 wins. That's not enough to win the Wild Card, let alone the AL East. And, of course, there are only 162 games, not 170.

Any worse than 5-12 at 17 games in and the season is over folks.
