Round 2

Pittsburgh def. Washington in 6 games
New York Rangers def. Ottawa in 6 games

Anaheim def. Edmonton in 7 games
Nashville def. St. Louis in 7 games

I went 3 for 4 this round, and 7 for 8 in the first round. Combined total = 10 for 12.

I won't tie my 2010 prediction where I went a ridiculous 14/15, but I think 13 is definitely within sights.

Round 3 predictions:

1) Nashville defeats Anaheim in 5 games.
2) Pittsburgh defeats Ottawa in 7 games.

I'm cheering for both Ottawa and Anaheim so that Burrows, Bieksa, and Kesler make the cup finals (yes, I still have lots of love for Kesler), but I don't think it will happen unfortunately.

Although Anaheim won, they were a little shaky in my opinion. I see some fragility there and Nashville will expose them in my opinion. Ottawa will show a lot of heart, but the Pens are the Pens, and Crosby will once again show why he's the 'alpha' of our generation.

2/4 this round, my Blues fandom outweighed my rational side and I still underrate the Senators. 8/12 so far.

Predators in 6
Penguins in 5

I am anticipating some blowouts in the Penguins series all done by Pittsburgh
Pens in 5

Veteran leadership will be too much for Nashville
Ducks in 6

I couldn't care less about the WCF now. Doubt I'll watch any of those games.

Hoping for Ottawa to take advantage of a battered Pittsburgh team.

I like how in 2011 every Canadian fan base and media was against us and yet so many people here are jumping on the Canadian teams bandwagon this year? Makes no sense. **** em. Go Preds

They are waving the Canadian flag now. calling the Oilers the next dynasty

But how are they going to keep that dynasty together when tow of there players

Draisitlle and Mc David are each making $10 million a piece

I'm going with the upsets:

Sens in 7
Preds in 7

Both series will be great. Pens are beat up and struggling.

And RyJo vs Getzlaf will be interesting. Ducks have always struggled against speed and Preds have it in spades. Too bad Fiala is out.

Man.... seeing Nick Ritchie score a GWG.... and Virtanen in the minors.... make me cringe at this Canucks management..... I'm becoming more and more jaded with this group.

Could've went with Nylander or Ritchie with that 6th spot in 2014..... UGHHHH!!

yes, Ritchie's 32 points 110 NHL games and 2 points in 9 playoff games is exactly what the Canucks needed. Ritchie also gets to play with Perry and Getzlaf.

I'm not even a Virtanen supporter but statements like this make me cringe at this fanbase.

I made a similar argument on the NHL Hockey Talk section of the forum and it raised the estrogen levels of fans from those teams.

p.s.______________I'm 10/12 so far! (7/8 = 1st, 3/4 = 2nd).

Haha... weren't you the guy who said u'll stop being a Canucks fan if we don't draft Vilardi if he's available at 5.

Being a Canucks fan is not easy... and we all have bad days every now and then.

Can a man not voice his displeasure with this team some days?

Willie Nylander would've been such a better pick than Virtanen... you can't possibly argue that we couldn't use a shot like Nylander's in the last 2 seasons... or even Ritchie next to Horvat-Boeser for 10+ games..

You know you can look this stuff up on the internet right? Or were you just purposely lying? Here are the Duck's lines:

Rakell - Getz - Perry (spent almost the entire year together)
Cogs - Kes - Silf
Ritchie - Vermette - Kase
Wagner - Thompson - Kerdiles

12 correct, 2 incorrect

Round 3 predictions:

1) Nashville defeats Anaheim in 5 games.
2) Pittsburgh defeats Ottawa in 7 games.

I've been on fire these playoffs as far as my predictions go.

7/8 = 1st round
3/4 = 2nd round
2/2 = 3rd round

12/14 = so far

Stanley Cup Finals:

Nashville defeats Pittsburgh in 6 games.

2016-2017 Stanley Cup Champion: Nashville Predators

Do you not watch games? Ritchie alternates on Getzlaf-Perry line when their coach wants to shake up the lines.
