Am I wrong for voting for Dermott?

No and I think the only people that will tell you that you're wrong haven't been following him.

I'm very high on him and think he's our best prospect and almost a 100% that he'll be a top 4 NHL D.

If you were to ask me if I'd rather have a Top 4 D in Dermott or Kapanen, I'd probably choose Dermott at this stage tbh.

No. I have him #1 overall.
There was an interview on TSN today said higher ups in the leafs organisation believe he was the best D-Man in the AHL down the stretch last season and expect him to break with the Leafs this coming season. He's a complete player.

If Kap's ceiling is to be a 25-30 Goal, 60 Point winger with speed,
Dermott's ceiling is to be a 40 Point, 2-way #2 D-Man, PP, and PK.

Both will play a lot of games in the NHL barring driving themselves off a cliff.

It's a matter of opinion which you value more.
I value Dermott.

One thing i can say is that the professionals see both players a lot closer together than this poll indicates. I suspect some of the disparity here has to do with Dermott being seen less, but who knows.

Both of them will head up this years rookie class for the big club, most likely.
We'll see in a few months how it starts to play out.

Very surprised Kapp didn't go 1st.. shiny toy syndrome I guess.

1) Kapp
2) Liligren/Dermott

An argument could be made for Dermott going 2nd quite easily.

Don't think any of the free agent Swedes are going to break into that top 3.

Finally the Leafs have 2 defenders as their best/top 3 prospects
