I got nothing but good luck Yankee fans. If I don't make it, please distribute my trophy points evenly...

I think Robertson can still be effective but you have to be careful who he follows.

Robertson after 99, 100 just speeds up their bats. He should be fine if he follows CC.

Robertson may be toast. He has looked off every appearance dating back to game 2 now. I'm not sure if its a funk or he simply is gassed. If its the latter the Yankees won't have much of a shot vs LA if they advance. Without Robertson Kahnle would have to pitch like Jesus

Robertson had a heavy workload.

Nothing wrong with pitching Kahnle. He's really good.

Hmm not sure what to make of game 7. On one hand, I'm pretty confident with CC, but the Astros offense looks lethal once again.

So did ours late in game 4 and in game 5. Starting pitching stops it real quick.

If CC is on and we get a few, I'm very confident.

I have a lot more faith in CC being on than getting a few at this point though.

Depends on how he pitches. If he gets shelled and Yankees still win he's not getting any hardware.

And if he pitches four innings and gives up a run or two he's not getting it either. He'd need another 6 IP, 2 ER or less type game I think. They'd probably give it to Judge if anything - especially with a big hit or two tonight - unless CC does pitch a gem. Headley's 7-15 but with only one RBI so I doubt they'd give it to him.

Verlander such a horse. Ryan Getzlaf of baseball. Those years where he took the Tigers to the series were some of the best pitching diplays I ever seen. So happy to see him back at it.

yeah i wouldn't compare verlander to getzlaf

hockey isn't one of those sports where one guy can carry a team all the way. although js giguere came very close to doing just that in '03
