:ducks2 - G Charlie Lindgren

:habs - D Marcus Pettersson, 120th overall

Anaheim is pleased to add Lindgren and will give him the opportunity to grab the backup job behind Gibson. Full update to follow

Since 5cotland is in Europe, I think we should give him a break tonight.

Your call, but I agree, seems like he's usually on through the night.

With their final selection in the 2017 NHL Draft, the :isles select,

D'Artagnan Joly, RW, Baie-Comeau Drakkar

bc_11_joly,_dartagnan.jpg

The New York Islanders concluded their draft weekend and come away with two of their highest rated prospects, in Tolvanen and Timmins as well as 3 additional pieces they feel have a good chance into developing into solid NHL players, with some time to enhance their capabilities. "We are very happy in selecting one of the best snipers in this year's class. Eeli has a world of talent and look forward to seeing him lighting the lamp in the coming years as a part of this organization." said Garth Snow, GM of the New York Islanders. Snow added "Conor has a nice blend of skills on both the offensive and defensive side of the puck. We were very happy he was still available to afford us a chance to move back up in the draft to select him."
