only cause the Leafs wanted him to clear so they could trade for him and keep him in the minors for now.
Technically didn't claim him but got him, I feel like that should count, cause they wanted him and worst case they would have claimed but it ended up best case cause they have him and get to keep MCbackup.

The defense is better than last year (mainly because we have 6 instead of 4), but the forward group has to be the worst in a long time.
