September 6th 1997 I was on Vacation in Liverpool and there was a small funeral that day that caused all the UK to shut down--I found a web cafe in Liverpool(that charged about £10 an hour) and found this site, Blackhawkzone.com and a few other hockey site--this one is the only one still standing

Actual sign that was here in the UK--until someone took a photo(not me) and well it exploded on the internet--I have had a few fights to keep it

-Happened off the board--I just spent two months in south east asia with several former posters--one of them was dying of cancer and sadly passed while we were there--not so much now--but when I first came to this site I met many posters along my travels

13) Least favorite EDMONTON based media personality - Actual media guy, Gregor, I used to be a big fan, but he's gotten complacent and the show has slipped, though I think it's better with Strudwick. "Technically" media guy, Tencer, GO AWAY Tencer.

14) TSN/Sportsnet/TheScore-- which is you go to station for highlights - TSN, with Jay and Dan back and the fact I'd go there anyways, just much more professional and entertaining.

15) Favorite vacation of all time - My multiple trips to England, thoroughly enjoyed them. Sorry I flaked out Jumptheshark that time.

16) Least favorite vacation - A trip to Calgary, which was less of vacation for me and more of a very hard teaching kiddo to cry it out while my wife attended a thing.

This was a great offseason, since it was an offseason. Didn't need to divert any energy into figuring out how to gild the poo that was the Oilers. Allowed me to take a big step back from being GM Fan and just being Fan.
