Hornqvist chirpin' Komarov from the bench. Heh.
Horny and Olli battling net front on the PP/PK. Heh.
Olli looks good. Skating well so far.

Komarov is mixing it up after every whistle. lol

Russia/Czech also on now.

These guys aren't easing into this.
Both games with hard hitting/chippy.

Is it worth going to these pre-tourney games? Will Crosby actually play?

He'll play at Comsol for sure.
They all likely ice their full squads in pre-tourney games cuz they want to build chemistry for such a short tournament.

Didn't think this was starting for another week...

Figured i'd start a thread so people know games are being played and early judging, it's very good hockey.

Really I just hope nobody gets hurt but I'm rooting for Team NA. I didn't think it was possible for Torts to annoy me any more than he already did but he somehow managed to pull it off over the last day or so.

The Czech Kempny is a real nice player.
Weren't the Pens in on him at one point?

Perhaps i'm thinking of the Czech forward Calgary signed: Pribyl

Fin/Swe heading to OT. 2-2.
Olli looked good. Played a ton. No PP though.

Olli is skating well and looks better than he did last season.

Its so weird watching Geno play with wingers that create space for him. He doesnt need to go beasting to create everything for his line.

Yea, he looks healthy. And had no problems with the pace.

I saw that they were 16:1 (6th lowest odds) to win. I give them an outside shot of winning and a decent shot of getting to the semifinals. Or maybe I'm just blinded by all the talent and skill they have and am missing out on the intangibles.

Has he actually done anything with the extra space?

I mean... genuinely asking. I'm not able to watch.

Very nice to hear Olli looks better. I'm pretty sure he'll have a nice rebound season.

And Olli wins it in 3on3 OT! :handclap:
He made a nice play hounding Stralman then got sent on a 2on1 with Barkov.
Sniped Enroth by his glove top corner.

No not really. He hasn't needed to.

Olli with the OT winner!

Even before his goal I was going to say here that I have a good feeling about Maatta.
Small sample size but looked great.

Great to hear Olli played well. Not sure how concerned to be about Geno. He could be coasting into this. It's a pre-tournament game in a tournament that doesn't really mean all that much.
