Solid group. We may not have any superstar prospects but all 3 of Chabot(he could be superstar, imo), Brown and White can be in the NHL top 25 prospect list and have top line/top pairing potential.

There's a big drop after Perron, in terms of ability, but guys like Dahlen, Englund, Jaros, Dzingel, Gagne, Paul, Claesson are just added bonus. If one+ become NHLer than that'll be big plus. If one becomes top 6/top 4 or higher then jackpot.

With that being said, I was looking at our age group and this is our u27 core:

Karlsson, Stone, Hoffman, Turris, Ceci, Pageau, Lazar

We really aren't getting any younger and actually need Chabot, Brown, White(and if not one of these guys then a prospect below them) to be future top 6/4 guys on this team to continue the transition from older to newer and keep us fresh in the ever younger NHL.

Jeez after the big three there's quite the drop off.

I don't be know what it is. Immnot as high on white as some others. Nor am I as high on brown. But there's something about that big three. They look. And they sound like they will take us into 2020's. I can't explain it.

Dahlen would've been easily #4 now, and #2 in my personal rankings.
Chlapik climbing well.
And lol Gagne. Even his photo disappeared.

so that is 7 guys that he had on his "will not move" list.

I guess if Dahlen was the next highest rated guy, that means the team had him at 8th. So, like I said, kind of barely in our top 10.

That's not me making **** up, that is what PD said. Me personally, I don't have the knowledge of the players to argue that view point.

Gagne's a guy that's going to take a long time to see what he develops into. Could be a total dud. Could be a checker a la Robinson. Cound develop into a defensive specialist in the mould of Hanzal. Doesn't sound like his offensive game is progressing the way the team hoped it would when they picked him in the 2nd round.

Hopefully guys like Chlapik, Ahl and Lajoie end up being diamonds in the rough to make up for the Puempels and Princes.
