So Tkachuk cleans up #3 with a big win over Mcavoy to move up THREE spots in the 2016 redraft. Solid pick by Calgary, plays on the line, ton a talent and SUPER young and already plays like a vet in many ways. Gotta love him

I agree he should be at 3, and considering he is still progressing as a dman (who can take longer to reach their ceiling) i dont think hes out of the discussion for #2 overall imo

Yeah 20 year old top pairing dmen are a dime a dozen. Would go in 2nd round in a redraft, totes agree Haatey

He's basically the Bruins #1 or 2 defenseman since joining the team in the playoffs like 9 months after being drafted. He's played 88 career NHL games at 19 and 20 years old (playoffs and regular season). He's averaged just a shade under 23 minutes/game total. He has 9 goals and 46 points in those 88 games (+21). I don't know, I think that's pretty worthy, especially when you consider how much responsibility has been heaped on his shoulders as a young defenseman.

Mcavoy has health issues so far. Hes missed 40 ish games in a year and a quarter.

I wouldnt say 3-5 is easy any which way you put them imo is Mcavoy PLD Tkachuk but can see an argument for any order of the three
