So the Bratt finally goes at #11 after losing a couple a close ones. What a jump from 162 to 11 in a redraft just 2.5 years later. Biggest steal of the draft AINEC. Anyways 12 is NEXT

Cholowski... As it should've been at #10. Detroit's done pretty well with their recent 1st rounders.

2013 - Traded #18 for #20, grabbed Mantha and got Bertuzzi to boot. Mantha's probably worthy of #10 or so in a re-draft.
2014 - Picked Larkin at #15. I'd put him at #5 now.
2015 - Svechnikov. Real tough one there. Dude's career has been derailed by injuries.
2016 - Traded #16 for #20, grabbed Cholowski and got Hronek to boot. Cholowski, IMO, should've gone at #10 in this re-draft.
2017 - Rasmussen may not be that great at #9 but 6' 6" 230 pound guys who can move like he does are tough to come by.
2018 - Zadina at #6. Veleno at #30. Way too early to call by Zadina looks like an elite prospect and Veleno has been absolutely unreal.

I guess it's possible to prefer Chychrun at this moment, but easily? That can only mean you don't know much about Cholowski.



This is stuff he does regularly. Smart passes to create zone exits, great awareness on when to jump in offensively.
