Seems like we'll be picking in the top 10. Anyone have an early projected list?

Looking at our prospect pool, our biggest need is a 1D. After that a 1C or a 2D.

I believe there's a drop off after the top 3. Any one of the top 3 picks would be incredible and with the new lottery rules (a lottery draft for 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick) we got a reasonable chance at getting a top 3 pick.

I hope this doesn't get filled up with pessimism as I thoroughly enjoy the draft threads. I would not be surprised if the Canucks another first come the deadline so it should be good year to pay close attention.

Matthews is the big name obviously and Chychrun, Tkachuk, and Puljujarvi are also high end kids so far. What about the rest of the top 10? Usual quality or above/below average?

Haven't seen much of Matthews, but hard not to like what I've heard. I absolutely love Chychrun though. I'm excited for the draft!

I think the draft hype will be like 2014 this year, when we ended up with 6 overall.
