I saw Bellows at the US Prospects game, and he looked pretty good. REALLY like the two Finns at the top of the rankings, looking forward to see how they play at the WJHC.

LOL well done Scott99. Will be following the prospects closer now then watching these bunch of losers play. Hopfully Barzal can score more goal.

Alex Nylander. Hopefully choosing him will make up for the mistake of not taking his brother in '14

Not taking Ehlers was a bigger mistake than Nylander.

Dubois seems to be a good prospect doing great things in the Q this year.

I was all about Nylander at the time. I even changed my avatar to him.

He may be right handed, but Dante Fabbro is the goods.

Barzal's best friend too.

The Islanders would be lucky to have Dubois, but I think they'll turn it around and draft in the 20s. If they don't and have a shot at Juolevi, I really like his game. Similar to Olli Maatta, but a better offensive skillset.

If they do finish in the 20s, I like the other Finnish D from the OHL, Markus Niemelainen.

Speaking of Finns, I'm honestly not at all impressed by Puljujarvi and I think he's highly overrated. As far as top 5 picks go, Tkachuk is my favorite. He's a chip off the old block, through and through.

Benson and Steel remind me of Barzal" types" in that they will be really good value picks.

I'd love Chychrun but he's going top5 no question.

I can't believe how far Sean Day has fallen

I could see the Isles LOVING this kid. I think he's going to develop into what they want/wanted Dal Colle to become. He one of the few 2016 draftees to get invited to Canada's WJC camp, already 200 pounds, leading scoring (which uncludes 2015 1st rounder Svechnikov). He's Jamie Benn-lite for me, top ten pick for sure. This is someone who I think could be the perfect linemate for JT (I know we say that about a lot of players).

People tend to say that there's too many playmakers here and not enough finishers. Anybody know more about that Debrincat guy? Will he go too high? Too small?

If he goes in the first, I think it will be between 20-30.

I always used to figure that the year after a strong draft would tend to be a weak-ish draft. Any word on the expectation for this year? I know it's still early though....
