Giants will be taking the World Series, yes I'm being a homer and yes its an even year but they also have a pretty damn good team this time around. Duffy & Crawford had huge years last year, Pence & Panik should be healthy and I'm hoping for a breakout year by Belt.

-I won't be fooled again by the Nats; injury prone and seemingly unable to handle pressure. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Marlins jump them for 2nd place here, healthy and productive outfield this year for them and Jose and Chen form a nice 1-2 punch at the top. Braves and Phils are interchangeable.

NL West
Giants
D'Backs
Dodgers
Padres
Rockies

-Do you trust the Dodger's staff past Clayton? Do you trust their lineup past Gonzalez and maybe Seager? Giants have another unspectacular, yet solid lineup and Cueto and Shark take some pressure off MadBum to carry all the load. It's an even year, history says that's the Giants time to shine.

NL Central
Pirates
Cubs
Cardinals
Reds
Brewers

-What a bloodbath this division will be again this season. Cards were propped up last season by a staff that is due to regress and lost Lacky and Hayward. Cubs young hitters all have MLB tape on them now (and a whole winter for teams to study them), expect some regression there. Pirates are counting on a couple of their prized prospects to show up for a mid-season boost and praying that Kang is ahead of schedule. This is the best chance the Pirates have of taking the division.

I don't care to predict the AL. I don't pay much attention to it.

Would love it if the Brewers finished last in the division but the Reds are so terrible.

It is an even year and the Giants offense was great last year while their pitching outside of Bumgarner was suspect. They upgraded their starters though I dont think Cain will ever be an effective pitcher again. Think we will have Giants/Royals part 2.

TB and BAL are clearly a step below in my opinion. 1-2-3 could really go in any order but the Red Sox still seem so dysfunctional to me. New York's success will be dependent on health but they are still a good team.

Al Central:
Kansas City
Cleveland
Detroit
Chicago
Minnesota

KC.... and then the rest. I don't even know. White Sox should be better right? I dunno, Twins made it close last year but they aren't a balanced team. Detroit is still going for it. Cleveland should be better where they faltered last year.

AL West:
Houston
Texas
L.A.
Oakland
Seattle

Houston and Texas will fight it out. L.A. will fight it out for the wildcard. A's will be better in close games (they have to be). Seattle still underachieves.

NL East
Mets
Nationals
Marlins
Phillies
Braves

This seems pretty obvious but Nats could take the division I suppose. everyone else is just bad

NL Central
Cubs
Cardinals
Pirates
Brewers
Reds

Cubs won the off-season right? Cards are still good but did lose pieces. Pirates will contend for 1st and 2nd as well. 1-2-3 could go either way. Brewers are bad. Reds are REALLY bad. Poor Votto.

NL West
Dodgers
Giants
D'Backs
Padres
Rockies

Hate the Giants but even year and blah blah blah. They got better where they needed to. Dodgers lost an ace but will still contend. D-Backs will be right there too. Padres gonna Padres and Rockies gonna Rockies.

Once again, White Sox are really overrated. Lawrie and Frazier doesn't make them better team than Royals, Tigers and Indians.

When no one but this weird USA Today model thinks highly of them, I wouldn't say they're "really overrated". That typically means theirs a more universal opinion, but I'm not seeing that from elsewhere.

Boston being 1st in the AL Easy is quite funny. I guess they lost their memory from last year.

Nats projected to finish first, how well did that work out last year?

Royals somehow going to take a step back despite having nearly the same roster minus Cueto (who really wasnt even THAT good for them).

I don't understand how the White Sox could win the Central when they're in the same division as the Royals. The White Sox are mediocre at best. And Robin Ventura isn't an elite manager. He had a good first year but has been pretty bad since. If he doesn't get results this year he's gone
