He wasn't our best goalie prospect when he was traded away, why would he be our best goalie prospect now?

Why Gibson would be our best Goalie prospect....

Not sure if this would be true, but its more of an indictment of our goalie prospect ranks than a feather in Gibson's cap. Other than Woll we don't have a goalie prospect in our voted top 30 as of yet, and that may just be the shiny new toy effect.

If Gibson was in our system, he definitely is not in the top 20....should make you feel good about the state of our system overall

I think Nikita Korostelev will have a monster year in Sarnia, next season!

I just don't see it unless his skating gets better. Sure the team he was on had its troubles scoring (partly due to the coach) but here's hoping. The talent pool could always use a talented sniping power forward. He should get plenty of time in the coming years since Sarnia sold a lot of futures.

Well the Islander think so as they resigned him.....and he out played both as a Marlie for the starting job.
