I went with Lindgren over Dzierkals based on position. Lindgren is the best RHD prospect we have (unless you count Zaitsev/Carrick) and his strengths lie in skills that are very hard to improve or not teachable, like skating and puck-moving ability.

Lindgren again.
We're at #25 now. Don't suppose it's really expected at this point for any player to necessarily have a big impact. Maybe he sputters out, but he has the highest ceiling of any player left on the list... arguably for a number of polls now.

But he's not the most project-able player left on the list.

So Hunter just drafted James Greenway in the 3rd round at #72, this board votes Adam Brooks drafted in the 4th round at #92 the better prospect? :help:

Brooks was on marner's line at dev camp lol. Greenway should have won.

Greenway looked impressive to me in the streamed game from the Development Camp. He looked as if he has the physical gifts of a much higher draft choice. We'll see if he develops them.

This isn't the Draft... It's a prospect ranking.

Brooks is two years older, is coming off a great season, and is going to go pro this year or next.

Greenway has the raw tools, something Hunter would value very highly when making a pick, but is also a minimum four years away from pro hockey. He's the bigger question mark at this point.

As a side note, Justin Holl should be added as a prospect. It's probably too late to add Trevor Moore? Edit: On second thought, you could probably add him. I'm not sure he'd be selected above Brooks or Lindberg...

Suggest who I should add next. :D

i disagree with the majority past the big three; it's interesting to see brown so highly rated. i don't think he has the ceiling of a first line player, but bracco, lindgren, zaitsev, dermott, kapanen, timashov do imo. obviously longshots but still higher ceilings imo.

i would have

1. Auston Matthews --
2. Mitch Marner --
3. William Nylander --

off chance of being first line or top pairing players.

4. Kasperi Kapanen -- 37.50%
5. Nikita Zaitsev -- 57.87%
6. Travis Dermott -- 35.59%
7. Dmytro Timashov -- 26.03%
8. Jeremy Bracco -- 26.42%
9. jespers lindgren
10 woll

top six to top nine players or second pairing

11 Andreas Johnson -- 31.60%
12. Nikita Soshnikov -- 44.68%
13. connor brown
14. yegor korshov
15. Connor Carrick -- 35.27%

17. dzierkals
18. grundstrom -- 32.60%

15. adam brooks
16. bobylev
16. johnny walker
17. chebykin
19. greenway
20. leipsic
21. bibeau

bottom line players

22. Josh Leivo -- 55.17%
