Korshkov.

Then Neilsen.

Then Valiev.

Looks like Leipsic may be the next guy to get massively overrated, as he looks like a fringe NHLer at best. Really don't get how so many would pick a 5'9" 22 year old who disappeared in the AHL playoffs over Russia's best U20 player. Nothing against the guy, but he shouldn't even be in the top 20.

Leipsic basically matches Brown in terms of production at this point in their careers, he skates better, and generally doesn't have any holes in his game other than being 5'9.

If you are Ok with Brown anywhere near the top 5, then it doesn't make much sense to be so skeptical about Leipsic at 13.

Neilsen. If I only got to keep one guys out of the list above it'd be him. After him it'll be tough to weigh the pro-tested Leivo/Leipsec vs. the younger, potentially higher potential Korshkov/Bracco/Dzerkals.

For the people voting for Korshkov are you guys voting because of draft position?

Partially, yes... but definitely not the sole reason why I've been voting for him since #7.

But yeah, our management thought he was talented enough to be at least top 30 in this draft just 2 weeks ago... They are obviously high on him. so unless you think we have 13+ prospects that are worth a 1st round pick... i don't think its unreasonable to vote Korshkov.

With the season Valiev just had, it's incredible that he will come in around 15 on the Leafs prospect depth chart.

Straight from the WHL, to an excellent AHL season leading to a 10 game stint with the Leafs where he didn't look out of place at all.

True.

Its also amazing that a top WHL 120 pt scorer may not crack the top 20 (Leipsic and/or Brooks).

Our depth is great :)

Im happy with Nielsen, Korshkov, or Valiev at this spot. Maybe Leipsic. Voted Nielsen this time, based on positional need. Also think all of the above is better than Leivo.

Yup. Same here. WHL scoring titles in Leipsic & Brooks. USHL stud in Bracco. QMJHL workhorse in Dzierkals. It goes on and on.

And no one thinks about our dependable AHL scorer in Leivo.

Take your pick.

No one talks about our best RHD prospect in Lindgren either :p

edit: Forgot about Zaitsev, but he hardly counts

Where should Joseph Woll rank? He was impressive in the scrimmages at camp IMO.

Big fan of his, he'll probably be the biggest jumper next year after playing a full season at BC.

I voted for Nielsen, dont know how many people are voting for Korshkov even though he haven't seen him play other than the WJC. Nielsen's a monster, was between him and Leipsic for me here.

Remains to be seen how much actual playing time Woll gets next year as a freshman but by the end of his BC career he will have lots.

Korshkov again.

He should've gone a while ago. Still don't understand why Rychel is above him. Meh, it'll change soon enough.
