Rychel is a good prospect who was fantastic for the Guelph Storm and made some nasty offensive plays (accepting a pass off the board and pulling it through his legs/around a guy before scoring a goal in the playoffs is the biggest that sticks out).

However, I think I should trust managements opinion on Korshkov and vote him first. Based on what I've heard/read he seems like he has a good amount of upside and a useful skill set.

I love Rychel, but I'm going with the Dman in Nielsen here.

Next five should be: Nielsen, Rychel, Bracco, Korshkov and Grundstrom. Actually NVM i want Leipsic there above a couple of those guys. Hes been unreal in the AHL, as has Leivo.

You made the right choice. Korshkov is far better than Rychel was at the same age, and Rychel's stock has only dropped since. Teams generally don't dump good prospects for waiver fodder, even if they ask for a trade, and even if they're the BJs. No one else in the league wanted to give up more than Harrington which is kind of telling.

man once this list is done it will be fun to look back even 2/3 years ago.

should almost do a list twice for potential / nhl readiness, then combine the two for a total ranking, hard to value the two as i think the new prospects will hold a higher value.

The Leafs used Harrington to acquire Rychel and the 31st pick to acquire Korshkov. I wonder who they think is better.

So a guy taken in the top 20 who was projected to be in that top 20, is far worse than a player who was originally undrafted and was projected around 100 the 2nd time? Honestly he seems like a solid prospect but come on...

Man, just looking at the list and who is left has me excited. Such a deep pool (atleast by Leaf standards). A bunch of guys I'm fairly high on I probably won't vote for til around 15 (Woll, Grundstrom, Greenway and Mattinen).

Nothing really wrong with that.

These ranking aren't a prediction of the future, but a snapshot of what this board thinks of these prospects at a specific time.

When I think of how good a prospect is, I definitely give a large weight on what I think they can/will be in the future...
