The fact that Grundstrom, Timashov, Bracco and Nielsen aren't in our top 10 speaks volumes to the prospect depth Hunter, Dubas, Shanny and Lou have built.

All but 3, 4, and 10 where brought in by previous management (well, Shanny was there for Nylander, but you get what I mean)

And it's possible all of our top 15 will have been brought in within the past 2 years.

Rychel.

Time to stop the slide IMO. Yeah, we got him for Harrington, but he is rumoured to have asked out of Columbus and most of us thought we did well on the deal. He's a former 1st round pick, he's still only 21 years old, and poor playoffs aside, his career AHL production is very solid for a 20&21 year old (60pts in 88 career games... actually outproduced Sosh, who's a year older). 11 is the right spot for him IMO. A top 10 talent but with question marks that maybe the guys in the top 10 don't have (skating & character).

I don't blame anyone for voting for Tima though. Voting him next.

We have a defenceman here who got 70pts last year while being solid as a rock in his own end. Pretty simple choice IMO.

I can't choose between Korshov, Nielsen, Timashov, and Rychel and it's driving me nuts

I have a feeling that Kerby Rychel is over-rated by Leaf fans. Leaf fans see him as a first round pick, but he hasn't performed well as a pro.

Went with nielson, his ceiling could be a top pairing dmen in the mold of weber. He had probably the best d+1 year of all our prospects in terms of where they were to what they are now. He's a better prospect than dermott imo. If he continues to improve his skating i think he will be a very good dmen. Also liked tymo and korsh but i'd say they are 12, and 13 for me. Crazy that leipsic, leivo , and rychel will be voted so low. Those are some solid prospects and each have had success(though mostly in a small sample size), in the nhl and ahl. A guy like bracco might be voted outside the top 20 which is pretty insane.

An argument can really be made for any of

Kapanen, Carrick, Dermott, Soshnikov, Johnson,Korshkov, Grundstom, Timashov, Rychel

being interchangable

and you can throw in Nielsen, Leipsic and Gauthier to come in shortly after

I'd have Timashov at 8 or 9 on my list. This guy has the vision of Nylander, he has a speedy transition game, his shot needs some work but it is still a weapon. He has a super high hockey iq and is always in the right place. He is also a huge pest at times.
I could be bias because I watch a lot of Q games, but I have always been high on him.
I think a new team will help Rychel step up but I am skeptical because these projects are always hit or miss.
I definitely think Nielsen has a high ceiling. Needs to work on his skating and he jumps up this list a bit more for me.
Korshkov I don't know so much about yet.
